About the Project

A Bridge to Every
Child's Future

Daraja Taraji, meaning "Bridge of Hope" in Swahili, is ASOH's flagship education support project designed to create sustainable pathways out of poverty for vulnerable children. This program goes beyond traditional scholarship models to provide holistic support addressing the multiple barriers preventing children from accessing and succeeding in education.

Through Daraja Taraji, we provide tuition, uniforms, school supplies, nutritional support, mentorship, and psychosocial counseling — working closely with families to ensure children not only attend school but truly thrive.

Since its inception, Daraja Taraji has transformed the lives of hundreds of children, many of whom have gone on to secondary school, vocational training, and higher education.

Beneficiary Story

"

Before Daraja Taraji, I had given up hope of ever going to school. ASOH not only paid for my education but also provided me with a mentor who believed in me. Today, I'm in my final year of secondary school and dream of becoming a doctor.
